Oil Terminal
Water polishing was required to ensure that the effluent from the oily water separator was maintained below required discharge limits.
Spikes in contaminant effluent levels were a cause of concern for the terminal operators and seeking a simple solution MyCelx was introduced by AIS.
Incorporating a small skid mounted system after the oil water separator provides a sentinel to capture any hydrocarbons that may result from spikes entering the oily water separator, the polished water is then discharged.
Analysis of water samples have consistently returned less than 1ppm to below recordable levels of contaminants.

A compact water polishing system up to 300lpm retro fitted to an existing water separator to achieve less than 1ppm discharge level.
